Bikepacking Journal [2019]
Featured in the Bikepacking Journal Issue 2 is our thoughts on our time cycling the length of Tasmania. We went on to travel the west coast through the Tarkine Forest, where the United Nations declare is the cleanest air in the world. I delve further into detail about the environmental predicament we had of environmentally aware cyclists travelling on roads and gravel tracks put in place for the logging and mining infrastructure, something we are opposed to. Ultimately I question, how can we shine a light on these beautiful places and how they need protection if we don’t visit them for ourselves. Words by Clare Nattress. Images by Mat Waudby.
